This is an amazing figure as are all of the 1/4 scale figures from Diamond Select. The detail is incredible. One of the best Han Solo head sculpts I have seen. And it is huge! This is great for collectors and kids. In fact, I think all the Diamond Select 1/4 scale figures are far better than the expensive Sideshow figures that are much smaller at only 1/6 scale.

Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway - Power Station Review

If you get in on sale (e.g. 40% or so off), it's a good buy & a nice addition to your wooden train set. Between loading the coal, unloading it, generating power (pushing the smokestack which spins a "power" wheel & lights up 5 little lights), there's a few nice interactive things for your little one to play with (none of which require batteries!).

Also comes with a coal car & two loads... which is nice. What's also nice is that there isn't a track attached to it... which makes it much easier to work into your layout.

I've knocked a star off just because relative to some other Thomas & Brio items, it seems a little pricey for what you get - and doesn't seem to be as "high quality" as some of the Brio stuff or even other (older?) Thomas items.

In general though, the kid likes it (& so do I!). So a good product / buy!

"Cars" Little Rides - Mater Review

This car can drive the calmist mother to insanity. The amount of noise created is unbelievable and unneccesary. The remote if you can call it that has a wire that comes out of it that is NOT recommended for any child under the age of 8. When I purchased this item for my four year old, I was expecting him to be able to hit forward, backwards, left, right. The car is constantly in motion always going backwards and to the left. You hit the one button on the "remote" and it drives the car forward. My boys do not enjoy playing with this except to watch it go around and around backwards and driving mom crazy. The batteries are also easily accesible with nothing there to stop a 2 year old from taking them out and trying to eat them. Needless to say, the cars now have no batteries and my sons' arms move the cars much better than the batteries and "remote" ever could.

4 Wheel Rechargeable Engine Review

This engine works pretty well especially considering our two year loads it up with five cars, I think it could handle a couple more. It is a little slow making the hill on his table set, but it does the job. The battery life seems pretty good, we bought the extra battery so when one goes dead the other can be charged which saves on the cost of batteries. One battery makes it through a good day of playing off an on. The instructions say 8 hours of play, but that is without pulling any cars. The only real draw back with the train is that the back wheels swivel for turning and tend to get off track on one sharp corner, but our two year old quickly caught on to helping it to prevent derailing. This train is extremely quiet, you can barely hear it running. The directions for charging are a little unclear for the length of time needed for initial charge, but other than that no real issues. Our son has an Imaginarium sight and sound train table purchased from Toys R Us which we had some trouble finding a train that was compatible, but this train works great. It is a small engine and there were no reviews so we were a little pesimistic, but once we got it up and running we were pleasantly surprised at its performance.

This is the first doll that we purchased for our adopted daughter's on our 1st Christmas together. My daughter is Latina, African American and Italian. I wanted a doll that is as beautiful as she is and Anna fits my vision perfectly. I especially love the fact that she is all natural and handmade in Peru. So when when my little one sucks on her hands, I know that she isn't getting a mouth full of plastics, dyes, and chemicals. Also I love the fact that I am buying a fair trade product and supporting local families in Peru. Another reviewer stated that these dolls are made by people who are hard of hearing. Love the intentionality of this doll and the company!

When we play with Anna or as we call her "Anita", we speak in Spanish. It's fun to create a personality for her and reminds me to help my daughter become bilingual. She calls all of her dolls Anna which is sweet and Anna is the first one she looks for when placed in her crib.

Anna has more of a firm squishy feeling to her. She has a cute pair of pink boxer shorts and a pink dress as pictured. She is a beautiful brown color and her hair is made of yarn with two pink ribbons. Her hair looks a little wild because the yarn has increased in volume with play. I love the kind of wild look of her hair because my daughter's hair is pretty wild too :) Her eyes and mouth are stitched and her nose is just a bump from under the fabric. She has a nice natural smell to her .... I think it's the wool.

As a puzzle-fan i was willing to buy this one for long time, i finally did it...the picture is great...i wanted to buy the 9000 one but i dont have enough room for that so i just went for the 3000.

CONS
The image which you're supposed to use as a model (the box itself) is missing 2-3 rows of pieces in the sides...it means you have to GUESS how it goes....
The definition of the graphics is not good, i mean there are some borders which are blurring insted of straight lines or similar...
The tone of color isn't exactly like the image on the box

CONCLUSION
I suggest you buy another one...ravensburg is a great brand but this puzzle i bought wasnt what i expected....it's too difficult to use the image on the box as a guide....
I've read other people having the same problem...and other people saying 9000 pieces version...is better with well defines image....
