We bought this toy for our daughters second birthday. It seems to be alot of fun. We purchased it from Sam's Club and it comes with 7 Weebles and 3 vehicles. Every other store sells them with only 3 Weebles and 1 vehicle. (...) Our 4 year old son has more fun with the toy then our daughter does which tells me it will be played with for a few years. The music is great and I believe there are 2 different songs so it doesn't get too repetative. It's easy to assemble and it comes with batteries. It's great for pretend play. The first thing I want to say is that my figurines arrived in a reasonable amount of time, which is something I like. The figurines came with plenty of accessories, including extra arms and legs, extra hands, and a sticker sheet for facial expressions. Each figurine comes in a separate box, with separate accessories. The first figurine I opened was Len. When I changed one of his arms, the arm wouldn't go all the way back in its socket, but it stayed on nonetheless. The leg part is actually two parts. A little joint, and the actual leg. When I took his leg off, part of the joint still stayed in the leg of his pants, and I actually thought I broke him. But I just pulled it out of his pants leg, and it was fine. When I went to change his face, I had to take off the headphone part of his head to get his head off. The faces come off and on just fine, but the only problem I had was to get the headphone part of his head back on. The headphone with the mic was loose, no matter how hard I pushed. It falls of easily, so I try to refrain from touching it. These were my first Nendoroids, and I am pretty satisfied with them. I will also continue to buy from Good Smile Company, for their timely shipping and great figurines.

Not even worth $10 in my opinion. When I received the guitar the neck was not even sealed to the body. I figured this out after the first tuning. A couple of hours later it was out of tune again. Why? Because the neck was not connected. To remedy this I used super glue, but should not have had to do that.

It's a cheap toy at best. Definitely not for actual play or even learning. I'm scared it will fall apart on me any day. Spend a little more and get something better!

Animal Alley Pink Veterinarian Kit Review

Ordered this item for a friend's five year old. Once we opened it I noticed the case/cage door doesn't close. You have to push it so far in you think you are going to break it. There is one item included that we thought was a collar for the inclosed puppy, but it is too small for the neck and very hard to make into a collar and to undo it. I don't think it will survive very long. Over all it is OK. The 5 yr old had fun playing with it. I hope it lasts!

Artifact Puzzles - Persini Le Passeur Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Review

Right up front, I have a confession to make: My wife and I are Artifact Puzzles junkies. There's no other explanation for why our puzzle collection contains more than a dozen of these beautiful little wooden jigsaw puzzles. Everytime I see a new one, I get an uncontrollable urge to add it to our collection. So, if you know of a 12-step program for Artifact addicts, let me know. In the mean time....

"Le Passeur" - which my rudementary knowledge of French tells me means "The Smuggler" - is a painting by Patrick Persini - and that's really all I know. Mr Persini is a contemporary artist - he has an active web site - but it tells you very little about him, and what it does tell you is in French. The picture itself is very odd - a seascape that's sort'a floating in the sky while at the same time giving you a sense that you're looking at the floor of some magical ocean. There's no real reference point - objects are just in suspension - it's all very disorienting.... And it's a perfect picture for the puzzle folks at Artifact.

Artifact Puzzles is a tiny company in Seattle. They make exceptional wooden jigsaw puzzles using a sophisticated laser-based cutting technology. The pictures are printed in colorful soy-based inks and bonded to 1/4 inch plywood. The puzzles are small - Le Passeur's 241 pieces make up a puzzle that is only 9 by almost 14 inches. The pieces are very small and very intricate - they have a pleasant feel and heft - and the fit is very tight and precise. These are challenging puzzles for adults and older children. I would not recommend them for children younger than 10, (Artifact warns that the small pieces can be a choking hazard for small children - I will add that they are almost irresistable to dogs who like to chew on a piece of wood now and then - take it from me, a Scottish Terrier will make short work of an Artifact puzzle if you give - in my case - her - a chance).

Like most of the larger Artifact puzzles, "Le Passeur" comes packed in a very cool pine wood box.
