This is my third Spark 1:43 scale die cast car replica. For their small size, they have a nice attention to detail (lots of aero probes and radio antennas) and their shipping case doubles as a nice display case. Great item for office decor to gaze upon when your mind needs a break from work.

Bachmann EMD SD40-2 Santa FE (Yellow and Blue War Bonnet) Locomotive HO Scale, DCC On-Board Review

Got here super fast (ordered on Saturday, got here on Monday Christmas Eve) which is a plus. I like that this loco is backwards compatible with DC though it has DCC on board.

Now the bad: I got the loco on December 24, 2012. Today is January 11, 2013 and I have already had issues with the loco. I connected it up to Bachmann's EZ Command Control DCC system as it has DCC on board. Within minutes the unit began malfunctioning. When it would pass over the plastic part of the EZ track switches, and reconnect to the metal part, a visible spark was seen and the unit would stop. The controller would also reset itself to the Number One position and all settings I had for the locomotive were reset. This happened, every time this particular loco went over a switch, left hand or right hand it didn't matter. I thought perhaps I had a short in my track, and placed an Athearn loco on the track and ran it with no issue, I tried again with another Athearn that I had purchased and again...no issue.

Up until this point, the quality and durability of the items I've purchased from Bachmann were what kept me sold on the brand, though they had limited selection in the way of modern diesel locos, even going so far as to purchase their controller. What has changed my mind entirely about the brand is this. I called today to speak to a representative in the technical support department. I was put in to someone's voicemail. I dialed back and described the issue to the operator whom asked what was going on with the loco, and she told me that the product was shorting out and that I'd need to send it in for repair. No big deal. What killed me was the timeframe. She told me it could be 12 weeks or more before they could get to it. I promptly returned it through Amazon and went out locally and purchased another Athearn.

Bachmann certainly has good prices, but I believe they lack in quality in some areas. I'm not impressed in the least in my experience with their line of DCC onboard locos as I've had a much better experience with Athearn and their quick plug line. I'm sorry Bachmann, but you've lost me as a consumer of your locos. Barely two weeks old and it's malfunctioning and 12 weeks to get a repair? Sorry guys...you lose.

I really like the set (it matches my son's room well) and it arrived when expected. However, I was surprised that it didn't come with any sheets (just the comforter & sham). I've never bought a set that didn't include sheets. Maybe this was mentioned in the description & I missed it. Thought I would give other customers a heads up about that. I do really like the pattern & colors though. I haven't washed it yet (as it is wrapped & under the Christmas tree) so I can't speak to the quality of the material.

This toy is pretty well constructed, but it doesn't turn. It just moves backwards as a robot, or forward as a car.

It took a while to make it work because it wasn't all the way down in car mode. It seems if you go all the way backwards and turn it into a robot and then go forward it works better.

Directions are minimal. If you have any problems you can't really find any support. I finally found a website with "Directions" but they are the same ones that are on the box. That's it.

Toy is fairly well constructed and my son likes it, but all you can do is go forward and backward. That's it. I would say it's maybe a $15 to $20 car value max. My opinion.

Okay this is for all the people who are saying barbie is better than bratz and bratz better than barbie blah blah blah. Here's a little history barbie was created in 1959 way before bratz but who cares. MGA wanted to creat a doll of there own and they did a wonderful/different job. But i wanted to say that a am a huge doll fan, epesially of BARBIE AND BRATZ thats right BOTH! Barbie is a classic and is very worldly and friendly too alll her fans.

Now this might sound crazy but bratz has a BIGGER fan base. This i heard on my local news. More girls are purchasing Bratz over barbie. this means that Barbie wil disapear and stop being made if we don't buy them anymore. That would just devastate tons of little girls and fans all over the world because there still are really huge Barbie fans out there. That also devastated me.

I think the real reason Mattel made my scene was so they could have a product that was simular to bratz so they could stay in busines because Bratz are such huge sellers.Do you understand??

I Want Barbie to stick around for my kids to share her imagination. But i have to say i am a HUGE HUGE bratz fan and practically worship Yasmin like many of you do(i have a poster of her on my wall).I think this do is pretty after all MGA did change their face a little.

Cafereo Final Fantasy Master Creatures Bahamut Figure [Toy] [Toy] Review

I've always been a fan of the Final Fantasy series and very much enjoyed the creatures and lore of the world itself, particularly it's creatures. And upon buying the Yojimbo from the master creatures series I simply had to have him for my collection.

The Shipping was-Fantastic it shipped UPS 3 day and arrived right on time!

Bahamut himself is among the most popular and no doubt the most memorable of the Final Fantasy summons. He has appeared in several of the games as well as his very own (Bahamut Lagoon). This particular figure is from Final Fantasy 8.

-He is depicted in gorgeous detail (in a dynamic pose),in the middle of delivering his devastating Mega Flare (despite his size which is about 3, maybe 5 inches high) His colors are wonderful and his body is metallic in the light, (which is great if he's sitting in a lit area.)
His wingspan is very good despite his size (the wingspan is maybe 6-7 inches)

-His base is a cloud which to my surprise is a little more blue than I expected. However this does not detract from his good looks.
it does wobble very slightly though (I mean very slightly, it won't knock over or anything unless you whacked it) From the cloud is coming bits of his mega flare attack which add for a very nice effect and it adds support for the wings.

Overall, I'd recommend this figure for any Final Fantasy lover or even just someone who enjoys collecting figures.
