I did a lot of research and had no idea how to choose based on ability. (My husband is good at most things but my only memory of his kite experience was not good.) I went for it anyway.............. and no regrets here!!!

We took it to the beach and he had an audience the FIRST day. There were people snapping photos and even a videographer that stayed from takeoff to landing. It is fast and super maneuverable. My husband is now the 007 of kites!!

I would not recommend this for small kids, though.
