I bought this doll for my daughter for Christmas as an alternative to an American Girl doll. The hair is cut several different lengths. On the back right side it looks like a chunk was cut out of the top layer. I have washed it, conditioned it, and blow dried it to try and get rid of the ridges left in it from the braids, nothing works. On top of all that, despite buying a special brush for doll hair, it comes out by the handful every time I try to brush it down. I remember having dolls with descent brushable hair when I was little. Apparently, now days, the only way to get a doll with hair you can brush is to shell out $100 for an AG doll. Guess my baby girl will just stick with Littlest Pet Shop for now.
