These chairs are great to have around the house. Our children have desks and tables they use for schoolwork, arts and crafts, and playing games. These chairs are stable and sturdy and our children will outgrow them rather than destroy them. They can stand up to almost anything a child can throw at them, but won't damage carpet or scratch floors. These chairs lasts, so I would recommend getting a chair a little larger than what your child currently needs. If they use the chair for a few years, it is worth the cost. However, if they grow out of the chair within a year or so you would have paid a bit much.
