Little Mommy Toddler Play All Day Activity Center Review

This thing is cute. Not perfect, but cute and a great deal of fun.

My daughter (6) got the Little Mommy toddler this holiday season and also this Play Center, and I have to say that she would NOT have fallen in love with the doll without this add-on. There are just so many fun 'mommy' activities. For one there is a slide, a white board, a cell phone, storage area for LM Toddler's special food, a clock, a high chair, and most importantly (who knew? ;-) a potty.

Now if you don't already know, the doll talks and has some sort of system that uses magnets to give her input, so that when you hold food up to her mouth, for example, she makes eating noises; and if she goes down the slide, she goes wheeee; and when on the potty she says something to the effect of 'I did it, mommy'.

Cons -

--I would only pay the discounted amount here and not the full one. The toy is cute and cool, but not THAT cool.

--The slide has this propensity to come apart, but it's easy -at least for a six y.o.-- to put it back together.

--For younger children you should know the white board works and that the marker marks. I don't know about you, but when my children were two, they would have put the marker in their mouth.

--The high chair is difficult to use. The tray doesn't slide and its hard to stuff the doll in. It is also a little difficult for me to put the tray on.

Pro's -

-- The slide and the potty make her talk.

-- There's storage room for the doll's special food.

-- There's a place for the cell phone and marker to go.

-- The white board really works. My daughter uses it to 'teach' her new darling math and reading. She uses the clock to practice telling time.

Four Stars. Not perfect but a lot of fun. I am sooo glad we bought this. It really made the Little Mommy experience complete. There are plenty of activities and chances to practice being a mommy of an older child. Finally, and pretty darned importantly, I would say that it is only worth the sale amount.

This figurine is awesome. She looks fantastic and I've always liked her short hair over her long hair look. It came with a few accessories that will need to be added to her, but other than that, she is good to go right out of the box. The only problem I have is do I leave her in the box or do I put her out for display? The details on her face are great and the pose she is in adds to her sexiness. This is definitely a figure to have for those Mai Shiranui fans out there.

MARVEL LEGENDS 2 PK FIGURE - ULTIMATE CAPTAIN AMERICA & NCK FURY Review

If anyone wants to be inspired, the WWII version of the captain is a home run. This is the second toy of Captain America in his WWII uniform. The first is the Marvel Selects. I'm not a select fan because of the limited articulation, but they do look nice. This particular toy has 25+ points of articulation without any sacrifice to the look and detail of the figure. The captain comes with a removable helmet, supply vest, 2 fire arms and his signature badge shaped shield.
The only thing that annoyed me is the pain detail in his mouth. I guess the paint machine is broken because there is too much black pain in his mouth. I suppose they want to show his individual teeth, but it just looks like he just bit someones and swallowed a mouthful of blood. SO GRAB THE 2 PAC SET WHERE CAPTAIN AMERICA LOOKS NORMAL!!!!
Nick Fury looks great too. 2 pistols and one big gun.
The best part is that all of the accessories are interchangeable. You can have cap. hold nicks weapons and if you are so inclined, have him wear Fury's coat.
Bottom line. This is a great buy and is truly inspiring to look at.

Great as a stand-alone pirate toy, or as an addition to the other items in the Playmobil Pirates collection.

The boat and the shark both float perfectly in the tub; the shark with both his dorsal and tail fins sticking above the waterline. If you place the oars first in the oar locks, and then in the pirate's hands, it helps hold those pieces together for tub time fun. My 3.5 year old son loves it, and unlike some of the bigger Playmobil sets, there's not too many tiny pieces to keep track of. The whole set includes: seagull w/nest, lantern, boat light, bottle, flask, 3 fish, bucket, barrel, fishing pole, boat, oars, small island w/tree, shark, and pirate.

The magnetic fishing pole is a big hit, but is a bit flimsy. This is our third Playmobil purchase, and I'm really impressed with their products. While it's true that there are many tiny pieces (more so on the bigger sets), I think that's part of the fun. If you lose a gold coin here, a plastic lobster there, they really won't be missed amongst all the other stuff.
