Revell H-1285 Tommy Ivo's "Showboat" Four Engine Dragster 1/25 Scale Plastic Model Kit Review

The first thing I want to say is that this model is not for beginners. It's a challenging build even for someone with a lot of experence. This model was first released in the early 1960's when the real car was burning up the dragstrips. Revell did a fantastic job and the kit is full of detail. One example would be the exhaust headers. Each pipe is molded separately and you must build each set using two jigs that are included. The kit is molded in red plastic and with mine the chrome plating was a bit uneven. With paint and a bit of detailing, a beautiful replica of a piece of drag racing history can be built.
