Even if you have no familiarity with Kamen Rider or the W (read: "Double") saga. This is an extremely satisfying set for the adult toy enthusiast. Bandai Japan's SIC line has created an impressive mix of their trademark sci-fi teched-out aesthetic with the visual cues of CycloneJoker, capturing the stark half & half nature of the hero(es). As is part with Bandai's various adult collector series the figure is exceedingly posable and comes with a selection of swappable hands and even a jointed stand. If that were not enough, you also get the elements to build CycloneJoker Extreme by swapping almost every part of the figure from the core frame. There are also "half body" frames that will take most of the normal Cyclone and Joker parts to capture CycloneJoker's signature maximum drive technique. Only a few small exclusions keep this from being a truly perfect set, the most egregious being you only get one pair of shoulder covers for both sets of arms, but overall you get a tremendous amount for your money. If you want a great take on Kamen Rider W's most iconic form, Vol.57 will not disappoint.

But as my title implied, there is more to complete this rendition of the W saga. Most of CycloneJoker is swappable with the W's 4 other half-forms in Vol.58; all 6 forms can be expanded even further with the separate Effects Parts set; and a distinct alternate form and double's predecessor, Skull, can be had in Vol.59. But just know that unlike all those sets, Vol.57 is uniquely self contained on it's own, lacking extra bits specific for compatiblity.
