My two boys - age 10 and nearly 7 - bought this with their own money. They played it at a friend's place and fell in love. I like it because it generally keeps them focused and quiet - except when they argue over who gets what piece - for an hour or two. Only negative is that the marbles are kinda small and easily misplaced. But this lets them be creative and off the X-box, so definitely a good thing!
