I bought this baby for my two year old granddaughter and it was instant love! This small baby is a good size for her. I used to buy Madame Alexander dolls for my daughter (her mother) back in the 70s and LOVED them. Something changed in these 30+ years. The heads were larger and more properly baby-proportioned. The 'skin' was softer and they had hair, by which my daughter used to lovingly carry her dolls. <g> I wish they were like the 70s designs, but still think they are the most desirable baby dolls! The clothes are still very well-made.
