I had never heard of the "Ultimate Soldier Xtreme" line of scale military items until I saw a sellout ad from a dealer I buy from regularly. This Company made highly detailed military figures, airplanes and vehicles but are no longer in business and sold their stock to several online dealers. I am a big fan of WW11 "Warbirds" and the P-51 was one of the best. I have several 1/72 scale metal airplanes that all cost considerably more. This 1/48 plastic model is at least as highly detailed as anything else I own and it even comes with landing gear and cockpit variations. A truly eye catching reproduction.
